After seeing the movie ‘Maleficent’ on Disney+, it wasn’t long before my parents and I saw its sequel ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’ on Disney+. I’m glad I’ve seen these ‘Maleficent’ movies as my curiosity has been satisfied. With that said, I still believe the 1959 ‘Sleeping Beauty’ film is better than them. 🙂

Since I saw the latest live-action remake of ‘Lady and the Tramp’ recently, it’s only fair that I check out another live-action remake of another Disney classic. This is ‘Maleficent’, a live-action remake of the 1959 film ‘Sleeping Beauty’. I saw ‘Maleficent’ starring Angelina Jolie as the character on Disney+

For my final Disney film review in January, let’s take a look at another animated classic called ‘Sleeping Beauty’! The theme of this Disney film review season has been about romance especially with ‘Lady and the Tramp’, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘The Little Mermaid’. ‘Sleeping Beauty’ is no exception here. I also saw this film at the cinema recently at Showcase Cinemas in Nantgarw for a limited re-release.
