I’ve reviewed these stories already, including ‘The Mutant Phase’, ‘Alien Heart’/‘Dalek Soul’, ‘The Lady of Mercia’, ‘The Peterloo Massacre’ and ‘Spare Parts’. Check out my reviews on them today. DVD review – ‘The Devil of Winterborne’ (P.R.O.B.E.)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This is something I’ve reviewed recently over the Easter holidays. I’ve reviewed the second episode of the ‘P.R.O.B.E.’ series by BBV called ‘The Devil of Winterborne’. This was recently given to me as a late Christmas present by Stephen, my best mate from school. ‘P.R.O.B.E.’ is a ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off series starring Caroline John as Liz Shaw. Continue reading

March of the Thirteenth Doctor #25

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here’s the second short story featuring the Thirteenth Doctor meeting her granddaughter Susan called ‘Fellow Traveller’ by Mark Gatiss. Unlike ‘Press Play’ where the Thirteenth Doctor saw a holographic message of Susan in the TARDIS, this is where Jodie’s Doctor actually meets Susan following ‘The Dalek Invasion of Earth’. Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

With the upcoming ‘Doctor Who’ Target novelizations on their way this month, I’ve checked out the sampler book ‘Doctor Who and the Library of Time’. Also in preparation for the ‘March of the Thirteenth Doctor’ review season in March 2021, I’m sharing my latest reviews on the stories featured in the ‘Adventures in Lockdown’ anthology. Here I am reviewing a birthday present I received back in May 2020. This is what my best mate Stephen sent me in the post for my birthday. It’s the first episode of the ‘P.R.O.B.E.’ series called ‘The Zero Imperative’, starring Caroline John as Liz Shaw. ‘P.R.O.B.E.’ is a ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off series by BBV. 🙂 Continue reading

DVD review – ‘Dad’s Army’ (2016)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

At long last, I get to revisit the ‘Dad’s Army’ 2016 movie I saw at the cinemas back in February 2016! Is it better than I remember it? Do the good points outweigh the bad points in this film? Well, that’s what I hope to find out as I share with you what I believe is good and bad about this ‘Dad’s Army’ movie. Continue reading

‘Doctor Who’ Marathon – ‘Twice Upon A Time’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This is the last episode of the Peter Capaldi era and the Steven Moffat era of ‘Doctor Who’. In this episode, which is the 2017 Christmas Special called ‘Twice Upon A Time’, Peter Capaldi’s Doctor meets up with David Bradley as the First Doctor, Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts and Mark Gatiss as the Captain. Continue reading

‘Doctor Who’ Marathon – ‘Empress of Mars’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This ‘Doctor Who’ episode features the return of the Ice Warriors with Peter Capaldi’s Doctor. This is one of my favourite episodes from Series 10. The episode is by Mark Gatiss. It’s interesting how it features the Ice Empress and provides quite an intriguing back-story to the Ice Warriors as Martians. Continue reading
