Movie Review – ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’

Hello everyone. 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Last Friday, I saw ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ at the Vue cinema in Bedford when I was away for the weekend attending the ‘Bedford Who Charity Con’. I’m glad I saw this movie whilst I was away last Friday and it satisfied my curiosity after seeing the two trailers that preceded the film’s release. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, I’ve seen the latest film in the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ at the cinema – ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’. This makes it the fifth film I’ve seen at a cinema in 2021. I’m sure I’m going to lose count on how many films I’ve seen at the cinema this year, but I’m glad I’ve seen this lately. 🙂 Continue reading

DVD review – ‘The New Mutants’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome to the final instalment of the ‘X-Men Film Review Season’!!!!!

Yeah, I know, I know. I’ve got the two ‘Deadpool’ movies and ‘Logan’ to check out, but I’m basing my current ‘X-Men Film Review Season’ on the ‘X-Men’ 10 movie collection available on DVD and Blu-ray. For now, let’s end this review season with the latest and final instalment of the ‘X-Men’ film series by 20th Century Fox/Studios – ‘The New Mutants’. This film is directed by Josh Boone and stars Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt and Henry Zaga. Continue reading

There’s a new teaser trailer for the upcoming ‘Spider-Man’ movie called ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. This is set to be released at cinemas for Christmas time. I’m looking forward to checking out this movie at the cinema. I cannot deny that I’m little excited by it from watching the teaser trailer. 🙂 Continue reading

DVD review – ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome to the penultimate instalment of the ‘X-Men Film Review Season’!!!!!

There’s one more ‘X-Men’ film to check out after this, but it’s time to check out the final instalment of the main ‘X-Men’ film series called ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ – or just ‘Dark Phoenix’ as it’s called in the USA. ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ is written and directed by Simon Kinberg. It stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexander Shipp and Jessica Chastain. Like ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’, has my opinion on ‘Dark Phoenix’ changed significantly since I first saw it at the cinema back in 2019? Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome back everyone to the ‘X-Men Film Review Season’!!!!!

It’s time to revisit an ‘X-Men’ film that I saw at cinemas back in June 2016 and it was the first one I did a quick review on via ‘Bradley’s Basement’. It’s time for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’, directed by Bryan Singer and starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn and Lucas Till. It’s time for possibly my favourite film in the ‘X-Men’ film series! Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome back everyone to the ‘X-Men Film Review Season’!!!!!

We move away from prequels territory as we take a look at a film set after ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’. It’s time to take a look at ‘The Wolverine’, the second film in the Wolverine trilogy of ‘X-Men’ films. The first Wolverine film was ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’. ‘The Wolverine’ was released in 2013 and is directed by James Mangold. It stars Hugh Jackman back as Logan/Wolverine and he’s joined by Hiroyuki Sanada, Famke Janssen and Will Yun Lee. Continue reading

Quick ‘Loki’ Review – ‘For All Time. Always.’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, here we are on the season finale of ‘Loki’! For the most part, I have enjoyed this ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ series on Disney+, featuring Tom Hiddleston as the main character. It’s interesting how Marvel Studios tackled Loki’s own series and the performances of the cast are great. Continue reading
