DVD review – ‘Fantastic Four’ (2015)

Hello everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I like the Fantastic Four as a Marvel superhero team. I enjoyed reading the 1960s comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby; have enjoyed seeing episodes of their 1990s TV show and love the 2005/2007 movies starring the Fantastic Four. I know not many people will agree with me on that front regarding the 2005/2007 films, but I consider them to be very decent movie adaptations of those 1960s comics. ๐Ÿ˜€ Continue reading

Hello everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Just thought I’d let you know, I’ve been cooking meals for my parents and me lately. Two weeks ago, I cooked a lasagne based on a recipe by Sarah Sutton in ‘The Doctor Who Cookbook’ I had for Christmas 2019. Last week, I cooked spaghetti bolognese. I do enjoy cooking for my parents and me. Continue reading

Book Review โ€“ ‘Spider-Man: Hostile Takeover’

Hello everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’m about to check out the ‘Spider-Man’ PS4 game on YouTube. But before that, I decided to read the prequel novel ‘Spider-Man: Hostile Takeover’ by David Liss. I greatly enjoyed reading the book. It’s a brilliant ‘Spider-Man’ novel to tie into the game as well as being a pretty good standalone ‘Spidey’ story. Continue reading

Hello everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I had a fantastic time last weekend at the ‘Film & Comic Con Glasgow 2019’ at the Braehead Arena. This was a two-day event from Saturday the 17th to Sunday the 18th of August. I saw my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ย stars at the comic con โ€“ Sarah Sutton (who played Nyssa with Peter Davison), Sophie Aldred (who played Ace with Sylvester McCoy) and Katy Manning (who played Jo with Jon Pertwee). DVD Review – ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

Hello everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome everyone to the final week of this year’s ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season’!

And here we are on what is arguably considered to be the unusual ending for ‘Phase Three: Part One’ in the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ movie series. This is ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, the third film in the ‘Thor’ trilogy so far as well as the last ‘MCU’ film that was shown in 2017. Yeah ‘Phase Three: Part One’ covered two years of ‘MCU’ movies at the cinema whilst the second half covered the next two. Continue reading

Day Trip Report โ€“ ‘Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.’ (August 2019)

Hello everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I miss the ‘Doctor Who Experience’ in Cardiff Bay. I enjoyed going to the gift shop and seeing what was inside the exhibition full of adventure and displays of costumes and monsters. Thus, I suppose it gets all made up for when I attended the latest interactive exhibit in Cardiff โ€“ the ‘Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.’. Continue reading
