I’m glad I got four ‘Doctors’ DVDs from the ‘Myth Makers’ series for my birthday this year from my parents. I’ve greatly enjoyed ‘The Doctors: The William Hartnell Years’, ‘The Doctors: The Pat Troughton Years’ and recently ‘The Doctors: The Tom Baker Years’. I hope soon I’ll get ‘The Doctors: The Peter Davison Years’ DVD later this year and hopefully more ‘Myth Maker’ interviews on DVD. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick TV Soundtrack Review – ‘The Pirate Planet’ (Doctor Who)

I love ‘The Pirate Planet’! It’s one of my favourite stories from the Tom Baker era of ‘Doctor Who’ as well as one of my favourites from ‘The Key To Time’ season (Season 16). It’s bonkers; it’s funny; has Tom Baker in it and it has the hilarious Pirate Captain, played wonderfully by Mr. Bruce Purchase. 😀 Continue reading

This is a review on one of my Dad’s Christmas presents for this year!

This is the 1976 film of ‘The Likely Lads’, based on the BBC sitcom series, starring James Bolam as Terry and Rodney Bewes as Bob. I enjoyed this film very much and I’m glad that my Dad enjoyed it too, since he was into watching ‘The Likely Lads’ when he was growing up during the 1960s and 70s. Continue reading
