‘The Nest Cottage Chronicles’ review – ‘Serpent Crest: Tsar Wars’

It’s time to begin the third and final set of ‘The Nest Cottage Chronicles’ in ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘Serpent Crest’, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor. Today, we’re taking a look at ‘Tsar Wars’ by Paul Magrs. As well as Tom Baker, there’s Susan Jameson as Mrs. Wibbsey. There’s also Michael Jayston as the Tsar, Suzy Aitchison as the Tsarina, Simon Shephard as Boolin, Sam Hoare as Lucius, and Paul Chequer, Grant Gillespie and Gabriel Vick as the Servo robots and the human rebels. At last! I’ve updated my review on another classic ‘Doctor Who’ season on Blu-ray! That’s right! I’ve updated my review on Season 23 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Colin Baker! This is actually the 14-part epic story ‘The Trial of a Time Lord’. It contains four segments linked by the Doctor being put on trial. The season stars as Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor, Nicola Bryant as Peri, Bonnie Langford as Mel, Michael Jayston as the Valeyard and Lynda Bellingham as the Inquisitor. Continue reading
