Welcome to the first story of Season 5 in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series! 🙂 This is ‘The Tomb of the Cybermen’, a four-part story where Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria visit the planet Telos where the tombs of the Cybermen are. This story was considered lost for a while before it returned to the BBC Archives in 1992. You can watch ‘The Tomb of the Cybermen’ either on DVD or on Britbox.

In this four-part story called ‘The Moonbase’, Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Anneke Wills as Polly, Michael Craze as Ben and Frazer Hines as Jamie visit Earth’s moon where there’s a moonbase that can control Earth’s weather. Can the TARDIS foursome help the moonbase’s crew thwart the Cybermen’s attack on the moon? This four-part story is complete with two live-action episodes and two animated episodes. Season 17 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Tom Baker on Blu-ray #3

It’s time for the third story of Season 17 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray with Tom Baker. Today, we take a look at ‘The Creature From The Pit’, a four-part adventure by David Fisher, starring Tom Baker and Lalla Ward, who are joined by K-9 (voiced by David Brierley). The story also features Myra Frances as Lady Adrasta, Geoffrey Bayldon as Organon and a peculiar alien creature called Erato. 😀 In terms of the story’s concepts and ideas, they’re very good. The overdose of humour and the execution of the titular ‘creature from the pit’ have a lot to be desired though. 😀

I’ve finished all of my reviews on Series 3 of ‘All Creatures Great and Small’! This is where it sort of ends for me regarding the original run of ‘All Creatures’ episodes. There are the two Christmas Specials to look forward to, but this is where I feel the series ends for me before it goes downhill. I will be reviewing Series 4-7 after doing the Christmas Specials, but this will not be with the same enthusiasm.
