Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Having seen the TV series on Blu-ray and revisited the first film on Blu-ray, I’ve at last seen the second ‘Downton Abbey’ film ‘A New Era’ on the big screen! In fact, I’ve seen the second ‘Downton Abbey’ movie twice at the cinema! In my opinion, I found the second film better than the first film. 🙂

I’m hoping to watch the film on the big screen soon (hopefully by the time you read this review, I will have seen it already). It’s fitting I should finish watching the ‘Downton Abbey’ TV series before I check out the new movie.

We’re getting close to the release of the second ‘Downton Abbey’ film at cinemas called ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’. I’ve seen the latest trailer for it! I hope I’ll be up-to-date with seeing all of the series, including the six seasons, the Christmas Specials and the first film before I see the second film in May 2022.

I enjoyed this Christmas Special and whilst there’s an ongoing storyline I’m concerned about, I’m glad the special does end on a happier note. 🙂

I’ve found out that the upcoming ‘Downton Abbey 2’ movie scheduled for December 2021 has been rescheduled for March 2022. I’m saddened by this as I was looking forward to seeing ‘Downton Abbey 2’ at around Christmas time this year. But at least I have more of the TV series to check out. 🙂
