As the ‘Bedford Who Charity Con’ is coming up this Saturday, I thought I’d share with you two reviews I’ve done on two films which are Sarah Sutton (Nyssa in ‘Doctor Who’)’s favourites. There’s my review on the Disney/Pixar film ‘Ratatouille’, which I saw on DVD last Saturday. I cooked a lasagne meal for me and my parents, based on Sarah Sutton’s recipe in ‘The Doctor Who Cookbook’ by Gary Downie, which we had while watching the film.

Last Friday, my parents and I saw the new Disney/Pixar film on Disney+ called ‘Luca’! I must say, I found this is a better Disney/Pixar movie experience compared to ‘Soul’ last Christmas. The story was easier to follow and felt more enjoyable compared to how I saw ‘Soul’ on Disney+ back in 2020.

If you were to tell me after seeing ‘Toy Story 4’ in 2019 that I would be seeing the Disney/Pixar films ‘Onward’ and ‘Soul’ in 2020, I probably would’ve just shrugged and said, “Maybe, maybe not. I’m not that bothered to see them to be honest.” My, my, how things have changed since 2020 began! 🙂

Before the coronavirus pandemic affected the UK – please keep safe, my Mum and I had planned to see the latest Disney/Pixar film called ‘Onward’ at the cinema. Unfortunately, with the restrictions in cinemas and the eventual closure of them because of the lockdown, that wasn’t possible. A shame! 😦

As I saw ‘Incredibles 2’ last Saturday at the cinema, I might as well share a few quick thoughts on the short Pixar film that was shown before the movie. This is ‘Bao’, a little film about an ageing, Chinese-Canadian woman who gets to be a mother again when she makes this dumpling that becomes a boy.

Last Saturday, I saw ‘Incredibles 2’ at the cinema! This is the sequel to the Disney/Pixar superhero film called ‘The Incredibles’ that was released in cinemas back in 2004. ‘Incredibles 2’ has been 14 years in the making! 14 years! Wow! A lot of thought and effort must have been put into this movie.
