Series 8 of ‘Doctor Who’ continues with the second episode of the season, ‘Into The Dalek’. This is Peter Capaldi’s first encounter with a Dalek whom he names Rusty the Dalek. Both Capaldi’s Doctor and Clara get to literally venture inside the Dalek. This episode also introduces Samuel Anderson as Danny Pink.

It’s the third ‘Doctor Who’ Special featuring the end of David Tennant’s Doctor and it’s the penultimate one of his era. This is the 2009 Autumn Special called ‘The Waters of Mars’ starring David Tennant as the Doctor and Lindsay Duncan as Captain Adelaide Brook. It also features the monstrous Flood.

It’s time for some old Amazon reviews to be re-posted on my blog today! And this time, I’m posting my reviews on Series 2 of ‘Torchwood’, a spin TV series from ‘Doctor Who’. This series stars John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness, Eve Myles as Gwen, Burn Gorman as Owen, Naoko Mori as Toshiko and Gareth David-Lloyd as Ianto. There’s also Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones in Series 2.

Series 8 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Peter Capaldi

With the latest news that Peter Capaldi is now leaving ‘Doctor Who’ and with Series 10 on its way next month in April, I’ve now added my DVD reviews on Series 8 on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. Series 8 is Peter Capaldi’s first season as the Twelfth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’ and was shown in 2014. It also stars Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald, the Twelfth Doctor’s companion for Series 8.
