(sighs) The 2011 film ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’. Now before I talk about this movie, I just want to reflect on some of the things I said in my review for ‘Operation Mincemeat’. I think I might have been harsh in my criticisms for it being quite slow-going and not having enough action featured in it.

This is what I call the highlight of Series 2 of ‘Doctor Who’. This two-part story by Tom MacRae features the first appearance of the Cybermen in the new series. But these are Cybermen in a parallel universe as the Doctor, Rose and Mickey are about to discover once they tackle the menace of Cybus Industries.

Let’s celebrate the Tenth Doctor era for the 55th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’! This is another one of my favourite eras of ‘Doctor Who’ as well as the Peter Davison era. The Russell T. Davies/David Tennant era of ‘Doctor Who’ was a magical period for me and it made me happy as a ‘Doctor Who’ fan overall.
