Spider-Man at the Movies – ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

With ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ to look forward to in 2023 and ‘Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse’ to look forward to in 2024, it’s only fair that we revisit the ‘Spider-Man’ film that started it all and perhaps inspired ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ with the concept of multiverse Spider-Men meeting each other – ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’. 🙂 Continue reading

Spider-Man at the Movies – ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

The story of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of Spider-Man actually begins in ‘Captain America: Civil War’. But for today, it’s time to take a look at the first ‘Spider-Man’ movie to feature Tom Holland as the webslinger, which is called ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’. This is a decent ‘Spider-Man’ movie, even though I have some issues with it. Continue reading

Spider-Man at the Movies – ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We come to the second and final (for now 😀 ) ‘Spider-Man’ film featuring Andrew Garfield as the webslinger – ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’. Over the years, I’ve grown to like this film more and more. I know it’s the weakest of the two ‘Spider-Man’ films in the Andrew Garfield era so far, but like ‘Spider-Man 3’, I find there’s more good than bad in it. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

‘Spider-Man 3’ is not available on Disney+ yet, but that shouldn’t stop us from revisiting the third movie of the original ‘Spider-Man’ film trilogy by Sam Raimi, starring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. I’ve updated my review on the movie with some extra paragraphs on the characters as well as adding some new photos of the movie. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome back everyone to the ‘X-Men Film Review Season’!!!!!

It’s time to revisit an ‘X-Men’ film that I saw at cinemas back in June 2016 and it was the first one I did a quick review on via ‘Bradley’s Basement’. Have my thoughts on this film changed since then? It’s time for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’, directed by Bryan Singer and starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn and Lucas Till.
