I’ve had a chance to check out ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’ films again, set in the world of Middle-Earth. I’m planning to do a ‘LOTR’-styled Advent Calendar for my blog this year with a comedic edge to it. I also hope to make a start on updating my reviews on the ‘LOTR’ radio series once I’ve sorted out my ‘Nyssa Challenge’ reviews for this year. I also hope to see the new ‘LOTR’ TV series on Amazon Prime Video soon.

We’re now onto Series 12 of ‘Doctor Who’ and today we have the first two-part TV story of the Thirteenth Doctor era called ‘Spyfall’. This story features Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor, Bradley Walsh as Graham, Tosin Cole as Ryan and Mandip Gill as Yaz. It also features the debut of Sacha Dhawan as the Master!

With Stephen Fry announced as one of the special guest stars in Series 12 of ‘Doctor Who’ coming out in 2020, it’s good timing that I happen to have updated my reviews on Series 1 of ‘Jeeves & Wooster’. This stars Stephen Fry as Jeeves and Hugh Laurie as Bertie Wooster. I’ve enjoyed revisiting this comedy TV series!

Quick DVD Review – ‘Blackadder’s Christmas Carol’

I’ve now seen the first of three birthday presents from my best mate Stephen for 2017!

I enjoyed watching ‘Blackadder’s Christmas Carol’ on DVD! Yes I know, it’s too early for Christmas as it’s only June! But as Oliver Hardy said, “Do your Christmas shopping early!” 😀 Also, if I can review ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas Specials throughout the year, why can’t I do it with Blackadder’s Christmas?!
