Here is a fan-pleasing episode of ‘Doctor Who’ in the new series. This is ‘Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS’ by Steve Thompson. I enjoyed this episode and how it explored more of the TARDIS with the Doctor and Clara. Mind you, I didn’t watch this episode on its original transmission via TV as I saw it on DVD instead.

This is a ‘Doctor Who’ episode about pirates that could’ve easily ended up being ‘Treasure Island’ with aliens. But it’s not, it’s ‘The Curse of the Black Spot’ instead. This episode features Matt Smith’s Doctor, Amy and Rory meeting Hugh Bonneville as pirate Captain Avery whose crew gets attacked by a female siren.

Series 8 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Peter Capaldi

With the latest news that Peter Capaldi is now leaving ‘Doctor Who’ and with Series 10 on its way next month in April, I’ve now added my DVD reviews on Series 8 on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. Series 8 is Peter Capaldi’s first season as the Twelfth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’ and was shown in 2014. It also stars Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald, the Twelfth Doctor’s companion for Series 8.
