We begin a new era of new series ‘Doctor Who’ today as we start the David Tennant era. The first episode of that era is ‘The Christmas Invasion’, starring David Tennant as the Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose Tyler. It’s Christmas Day, the Doctor’s regenerated and the Sycorax are about to invade Earth.

Today, I’ve added my review on the novelization/audiobook of ‘Doctor Who – The Christmas Invasion’ by Jenny T. Colgan. This is the second of a brand-new range of Target novelizations in ‘Doctor Who’ and is on the first Christmas Special of the new series, ‘The Christmas Invasion’, featuring the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler. The audiobook is read by Camile Coduri, who played Jackie Tyler in the TV series.

My parents gave me a Blu-ray box set of ‘Doctor Who’ featuring the first 10 Christmas Specials from the new series. This was exciting, as we’ve had a new Blu-ray player recently and it seems like my family and I are getting into Blu-ray more. It was trial and error first, but we managed to get through.
