Here is the first ‘Doctor Who’ story by Steven Moffat. It is a two-parter set in World War II and it features the first appearance of John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness. It’s about an empty child who keeps on asking “Are you my mummy?” and is one of my favourite TV stories from the new series.

Over Christmas last year, I received an extra present from my parents. It was the Blu-ray edition of Series 1 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose Tyler. This was exciting for me, as I was getting into using more of Blu-ray as well as DVDs in general.
