Before I did that however, I decided to check out the original ‘Suicide Squad’ film which was made in 2016. Last week, I posted a review on the ‘Scooby-Doo Meets Batman’ DVD to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Scooby-Doo. In a way, I’m glad I did that since I reviewed the two cartoon films from the DVD release. I’ve just realised that it’s the 50th anniversary of Scooby-Doo this year! Yes! That’s right! 50 years ago, Scooby-Doo the talking brown dog who solves mysteries with Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma of Mystery Inc. was created. It’s the 30th anniversary of the 1989 ‘Batman’ film by director Tim Burton and I saw the movie on the big screen for a limited re-release at Showcase Cinemas in Nantgarw!
