Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As well as seeing Bradley Walsh in the ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘The Power of the Doctor’ this year, I’ve also seen him in Series 2 of ‘The Larkins’ on both ITV1 and Britbox. I was lucky in being able to see ‘The Larkins at Christmas’ on Christmas Day itself! 🙂 I was afraid I might miss it, as it clashed with the timing for the 2021 Christmas Special of ‘Call the Midwife’ on BBC One. ‘The Larkins’ is a 2021 TV adaptation of the H. E. Bates novel ‘The Darling Buds of May’. I was aware of ‘The Darling Buds of May’ before checking out this series, having seen the first episode (I believe) of the 1991-93 series, which starred David Jason, Pam Ferris, Philip Franks and Catherine Zeta-Jones. On the same night we saw the first episode of ‘Call the Midwife’, Series 8 via BBC iPlayer, my parents and I also watched the first episode of ‘Grantchester’, Series 4 via ITV Hub.
