Here we are on my favourite story out of Season 18 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. It’s time for us to check out ‘The Keeper of Traken’, a four-part story by Johnny Byrne, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor and Matthew Waterhouse as Adric. It also introduces us to my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ companion – Sarah Sutton as Nyssa of Traken. This story also features the Melkur, voiced by Geoffrey Beevers and we’re introduced to Anthony Ainley as Tremas, Nyssa’s father. ‘The Keeper of Traken’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox.

Having recently checked out the Target novelization/audiobook of ‘Meglos’, I’d like to share my reviews on the Target novelizations/audiobooks featured in Season 18 of ‘Doctor Who’. I’m pleased all the audiobook versions of the Season 18 Target novelizations have been made. Hopefully the same will be done for Season 19 with the remaining novelization of ‘Kinda’ to be made as an audiobook.

But that won’t stop me sharing my thoughts and feelings about the latest Nyssa ‘Doctor Who’ stories I’ve seen, read and heard recently. This review season will take place from the Christmas period of 2020 leading into the New Year of 2021. Most of the stories reviewed will be short story collections and Big Finish audios.
