It’s that time again for me to share another set of ‘convention memories’ as a ‘Doctor Who’ fan! 🙂 In September 2014, I attended the ‘Pandorica 2014’ convention at the Future Inn in Bristol, run by Fantom Films. I would later attend another ‘Pandorica’ convention in 2015 at the same Future Inn. 🙂

It’s time for us to come to an end with Season 22 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray with Colin Baker. Today, we look at the sixth and final story in Season 22 of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘Revelation of the Daleks’, featuring Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor and Nicola Bryant as Peri. They come up against Terry Molloy who returns as Davros as well as his creations, the Daleks, at Tranquil Repose on the planet Necros. They also come up against a superb guest cast of characters in the story.

At the time of this review, ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ is out at cinemas! I’m hoping to watch the film on the big screen soon (hopefully by the time you read this review, I will have seen it already). It’s fitting I should finish watching the ‘Downton Abbey’ TV series before I check out the new movie.

Back in March, I gave my Mum her birthday present, which she enjoyed. Since she loves crime drama, I gave my Mum the 2015 series of Agatha Christie‘s ‘Partners In Crime’ on DVD. I’m glad she enjoyed it as well as me and my Dad. I’m saddened the series wasn’t renewed for a second season. 😦

Well, it took us a while, but my parents and I have finally reached the point where we can get onto watching Series 10 of ‘Call the Midwife’ on DVD. We’ve finished Series 9 on DVD and I’ve added my latest reviews on the season on my blog. I first saw Series 9 of ‘Call the Midwife’ back in early 2020. Amazing how I’m revisiting it a year later on DVD in 2021.

At this point, three episodes of Series 10 of ‘Call the Midwife’ have been transmitted on BBC TV. I of course haven’t seen them yet. I’m currently watching the seasons set before Series 10. I’ve finished watching Series 7 and I’m looking forward to revisiting Series 8 and 9 before I watch Series 10 on DVD, which I’ve pre-ordered from Amazon.co.uk.

I’m up-to-date again with the ‘Star Cops’ series as I’ve recently heard and reviewed the second ‘Mars’ box set by Big Finish, containing the last three of six episodes in the saga. I greatly enjoyed the second ‘Mars’ box set, finding each of the three episodes pretty compelling and dramatic to listen to. 🙂

It’s time to continue the ‘Star Cops’ series with some full-cast audio episodes! I’ve been able to check out and review the first three episodes of the ‘Mars’ saga of ‘Star Cops’. The ‘Mars’ saga comprises of six episodes altogether and would have formed the third season of the TV series had it not been cancelled in 1987 by the BBC.
