Here we are on my favourite story out of Season 18 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. It’s time for us to check out ‘The Keeper of Traken’, a four-part story by Johnny Byrne, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor and Matthew Waterhouse as Adric. It also introduces us to my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ companion – Sarah Sutton as Nyssa of Traken. This story also features the Melkur, voiced by Geoffrey Beevers and we’re introduced to Anthony Ainley as Tremas, Nyssa’s father. ‘The Keeper of Traken’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox.

It’s time for the season finale of Season 5 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. This is ‘The Wheel In Space’, a six-part adventure that is sadly mostly missing from the BBC Archives. Only two episodes of this six-part story have survived – ‘Episodes Three and Six’. The story stars Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor and Frazer Hines as Jamie. The story also introduces Wendy Padbury as Zoe, a new companion, and it features the return of the Cybermen. ‘The Wheel In Space’ can be checked out on audio CD or as a download from Audible. The two surviving episodes of the story can be seen in the ‘Lost In Time’ DVD collection. The story can be seen in full with reconstructions of the four missing episodes and the two surviving episodes on Britbox.

The story stars Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria. This story also happens to be the last regular appearance of Deborah Watling as a ‘Doctor Who’ companion in the series.

Now the story can be enjoyed on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox. The story stars Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria. It also features the return of Jack Watling as Professor Travers and it introduces Nicholas Courtney as Colonel Lethbridge-Stewart.

In October 2013, it was found and can be enjoyed by every ‘Doctor Who’ fan watching it on DVD and via Britbox. ‘The Enemy of the World’ stars Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor and as the villainous Salamander. This story also stars Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria. This is also the first ‘Doctor Who’ story to be directed by Barry Letts.

Welcome to the first story of Season 5 in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series! 🙂 This is ‘The Tomb of the Cybermen’, a four-part story where Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria visit the planet Telos where the tombs of the Cybermen are. This story was considered lost for a while before it returned to the BBC Archives in 1992. You can watch ‘The Tomb of the Cybermen’ either on DVD or on Britbox.
