‘The Doctor Who Cookbook’ Reviews

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the 60th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’, so why not? 😀 To commemorate the day that I first met Sarah Sutton at the ‘Fifth Element’ event back in February 2010, I’ve decided to review ‘The Doctor Who Cookbook’ by Gary Downie, which was originally published back in 1985. This has been a treat of a ‘Doctor Who’ book to review. 🙂 Continue reading

‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon – ‘Marco Polo’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

The First Doctor TARDIS team takes a venture in history in this seven-part ‘Doctor Who’ adventure where they meet Marco Polo in 1289. Sadly, ‘Marco Polo’ doesn’t exist as a TV story, as all the episodes have been wiped from the BBC Archives. Thankfully, the story can be enjoyed on audio CD or vinyl or as a download from Audible. Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s 2023 and it’s the 60th anniversary year of ‘Doctor Who’! To commemorate the occasion, I’m revisiting the ‘Doctor Who’ TV stories that are available on DVD, CD (or via Audible), Blu-ray, Britbox and BBC iPlayer throughout the 365 days of 2023. They’ll be stories from the First Doctor era leading up to the latest stories, including the 60th anniversary specials under the neo-Russell T. Davies era. There will also be summaries on each season and reflections on each Doctor in the TV series. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the penultimate review in this year’s 55th anniversary celebration of ‘Doctor Who’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and it’s also the eve before the 55th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’ takes place. So what better thing to look into than the docu-drama that details how the ‘Doctor Who’ TV series began in 1963. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the 55th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’ this year in 2018! I’m celebrating this November by looking into all of the Doctors in the show’s history and share a review on a particular story featuring a certain incarnation of the Doctor. This will cover the 14 widely accepted Doctors on TV and some ambiguous ones. Continue reading
