New Photos of ‘The War Master: Killing Time’

Big Finish has recently shared some new details about the upcoming sixth ‘War Master’ box set from the worlds of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘Killing Time’ by James Goss and Lou Morgan; and directed by Scott Handcock. I’m really excited about the sixth ‘War Master’ box set which will feature Sir Derek Jacobi as the War Master, Alexandria Riley as Calantha, Katy Manning as Jo and Sarah Sutton as Nyssa.

There are also some nice behind-the-scenes photos of the cast from ‘Killing Time’, including a lovely photo of Derek Jacobi and Sarah Sutton, which I personally like. I’m looking forward to how Nyssa encounters the War Master in ‘Killing Time’. There’s also a photo of Katy Manning, another photo of Sarah Sutton with Derek Jacobi and Mali Ann Rees and some more cast photos which you can see below in this post. These photos were taken in December 2019 before the Covid-19 pandemic happened in 2020 – please keep safe. There’s also a recent photo posted on Twitter by Sarah Douglas (Ursa from the ‘Superman’ movies with Christopher Reeve) who’s in ‘Killing Time’ too. She’s with Derek Jacobi, Katy Manning, Fanos Xenofós and director Scott Handcock in the photo.

Seeing these photos has cheered me very much. I’m looking forward to sharing my reviews on each of the ‘War Master’ box sets on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ later in the year. In July, I’ll be sharing my review on the first box set ‘Only the Good’. In August, I’ll be sharing my review on the second box set ‘The Master of Callous’. In September, I’ll be sharing my review on the third box set ‘Rage of the Time Lords’. In October, I’ll be sharing my review on the fourth box set ‘Anti-Genesis’. And in November, I’ll be sharing my review on the fifth box set ‘Hearts of Darkness’. I’m likely to share my review on ‘Killing Time’ in January 2022 when it comes to the next ‘Nyssa Challenge’ review season from December 2021 to January 2022.

I’m really looking forward to checking out ‘Killing Time’, the sixth ‘War Master’ box set by Big Finish, when it comes out in August this year. It’ll be exciting to hear Katy Manning’s Jo and Sarah Sutton’s Nyssa meeting Derek Jacobi’s Master. I hope to share the new photos from Big Finish in my review for ‘Killing Time’ when it comes to checking out the sixth ‘War Master’ box set.
