Jodie Whittaker and Chris Chibnall to leave ‘Doctor Who’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

(sighs) I was afraid this would happen.

And whilst many of you have your own opinions about Jodie Whittaker’s performances as the Thirteenth Doctor and Chris Chibnall’s efforts as the current showrunner of ‘Doctor Who’, I must stress that I also have my own opinions about these two. I’m saddened to hear that they’re leaving. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’d like to share some thoughts on the first episode of ‘Monsters At Work’, the new Disney/Pixar series on Disney+ which is a follow-up to ‘Monsters Inc.’. I loved that film when I saw it in 2002 and it’s great to check out this new Disney/Pixar series whilst I’m still a Disney+ subscriber these days. 😀 Continue reading

And welcome back everyone to the ‘X-Men Film Review Season’!!!!!

We move away from prequels territory as we take a look at a film set after ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’. It’s time to take a look at ‘The Wolverine’, the second film in the Wolverine trilogy of ‘X-Men’ films. The first Wolverine film was ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’. ‘The Wolverine’ was released in 2013 and is directed by James Mangold. It stars Hugh Jackman back as Logan/Wolverine and he’s joined by Hiroyuki Sanada, Famke Janssen and Will Yun Lee. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Baby’s Day Out’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time to talk about a film that my parents and I saw on Disney+ recently! A 1994 film called ‘Baby’s Day Out’. I used to see this film as a kid back when it was on VHS in the 1990s. It’s amazing how much of this film came back to me when revisiting it years later. I still had a good time seeing it. Continue reading

But first, let me share with you my thoughts on the original ‘Space Jam’ movie which was released in 1996. I saw this film recently when I rented it on Google Play to watch. Continue reading

Quick ‘Loki’ Review – ‘For All Time. Always.’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, here we are on the season finale of ‘Loki’! For the most part, I have enjoyed this ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ series on Disney+, featuring Tom Hiddleston as the main character. It’s interesting how Marvel Studios tackled Loki’s own series and the performances of the cast are great. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Black Beauty’ (2020)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

My parents and I saw the 2020 film ‘Black Beauty’ on Disney+ last Friday. I greatly enjoyed it! I found how this turned out to be a satisfying modern take on the 1877 novel of the same name by Anna Sewell. It kept to what I knew of ‘Black Beauty’ as a story whilst doing something very unique with it. Continue reading

Novelization/Audiobook review – ‘Doctor Who and the Leisure Hive’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve decided to fill in the gap of my reviews on the Target novelizations/audiobooks of Season 18 of ‘Doctor Who’! Today, I’m sharing my review on the novelization/audiobook of ‘The Leisure Hive’ by David Fisher. The story features the Fourth Doctor and Romana as well as a little bit of K-9. The audiobook for ‘Doctor Who and the Leisure Hive’ is read by Lalla Ward. Continue reading
