For my birthday last Wednesday, I went to see a re-release of ‘Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace’ at Showcase Cinema in Nantgarw. It’s amazing to think that it’s been 25 years since the release of that movie in 1999 and it’s amazing it’s been able to get a limited re-release at cinemas. 🙂

Yes, as it’s Early May Bank Holiday Monday in the first week of May today, it’s time for me to share something special with you. After handling ‘The Nyssa Challenge’ of ‘Doctor Who’ reviews for my Easter review season this year, I went into revisiting the ‘Timeslip’ TV series and the first two Big Finish audio stories, which I reviewed and shared on Christmas Day in December 2020.

I had a great time attending ‘Comic Con Mania’ in Leicester last Saturday. I got to reunite with my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ stars Sarah Sutton (Nyssa) and Peter Davison (the Fifth Doctor). I had lovely chats with them both, had photos with them and I took away some special moments from the event.

Last weekend, I attended ‘Comic Con Mania’ in Leicester on Saturday the 27th of April 2024 (Jenna Coleman’s birthday, apparently 🙂 ). There, I reunited with ‘Doctor Who’ stars Sarah Sutton (Nyssa) and Peter Davison (the Fifth Doctor) at the Mattioli Arena (formerly Morningside Arena) in Leicester.

It’s time for ‘Conflicts of Interest’, starring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa and Janet Fielding as Tegan. This box set contains two three-part stories, including ‘Friendly Fire’ by John Dorney and ‘The Edge of the War’ by Jonathan Barnes.

I’ve updated my review on the story with extras thoughts and photos. It’s about the same length as my updated review on ‘The Eternal Summer’ and is longer than my updated review on ‘Castle of Fear’. 🙂

It’s Easter Monday today, and we’re continuing my latest ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season by checking out my latest updated review on the second story of ‘The Stockbridge Trilogy’ of ‘Doctor Who’ audios by Big Finish called ‘The Eternal Summer’ by Jonathan Morris. My updated review on ‘The Eternal Summer’ ended up being longer than my updated review on ‘Castle of Fear’, especially since the story itself is very engaging and thrilling to listen to. 🙂
