DVD Review – ‘Ant-Man’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome to the final instalment of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season 2’!

Today we take a look at the final film of Phase Two of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ film series. It’s a bit of a peculiar film to end Phase Two as it’s an origins story for a new superhero character. One wonders why ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ was not made as the finale film for Phase Two of the ‘MCU’. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This is a novelization on the ‘Doctor Who’ story, ‘The Gunfighters’, featuring the First Doctor, Steven Taylor and Dodo Chaplet. The audiobook is read by Shane Rimmer, who played Seth Harper in the TV story. Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Arachnids In The UK’ (Doctor Who)

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve now seen the fourth episode of Series 11 of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘Arachnids In The UK’ by Chris Chibnall. I enjoyed the episode very much. I watched the episode on BBC iPlayer with my parents. I’d be lying though if I said the episode did not have any flaws. This especially concerns the tale’s climax. Continue reading

Convention Report – ‘Destination Star Trek Birmingham 2018’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last weekend from the 19th to the 21st of October 2018, my Mum and I attended the ‘Destination Star Trek Birmingham’ convention at the NEC (National Exhibition Centre) in Birmingham. I had an amazing time! There was lots to do; plenty to see and it was an interesting, unusual experience to see what a ‘Star Trek’ convention was like for change. Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome back everyone to the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season 2’!

Today we’re looking at the penultimate film in Phase Two of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ film series. And it’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, sequel to ‘Avengers Assemble’ (or ‘The Avengers’ as the USA calls it). Which makes wonder why ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ isn’t the final movie for Phase Two. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I was away last weekend, so I didn’t get a chance to watch the latest ‘Doctor Who’ episode on TV on Sunday evening. But thankfully my parents and I caught up on watching the episode the following day via BBC iPlayer. And what an amazing episode I’ve seen recently since it is now time for history! Continue reading

There will be a delay to my review on the latest ‘Doctor Who’ episode, ‘Rosa’, but hopefully I’ll provide a review on the episode soon as well as a convention report on ‘Destination Star Trek’. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome back everyone to the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season 2’!

Today we’re looking at a group of Marvel comic book superheroes brought to life in the movies that I had no knowledge of beforehand when watching them at the cinema. In fact, I never read any of their comics since they made the first appearance in 2008 and I had grown out of reading comics by then. Continue reading

After the exciting start to Series 11 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Jodie Whittaker in ‘The Woman Who Fell To Earth’, I was looking forward to finding out what the next episode was going to be like. Will it be good as the first episode? Will I enjoy the story and the characters? Would I get flummoxed by anything? Continue reading
