Elisabeth Sladen and Sarah Sutton panel at ‘Aylcon 1994’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here’s a little ‘Doctor Who’ treat for you from me on Christmas Day! This is a convention panel talk video featuring two companions, including the late Elisabeth Sladen, who played Sarah Jane Smith, and Sarah Sutton, who played Nyssa of Traken. This took place at the ‘Doctor Who’ convention called ‘Aylcon’ in Aylesbury in 1994.

Having written a scene featuring Sarah Jane and Nyssa together in ‘Interdimensional Rescue’, it was lovely to check out this convention panel talk video on YouTube featuring two of my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ companions in Lis Sladen and Sarah Sutton. I’m pleased Robert Dobson was able to upload this video on YouTube in 2022.

Please feel free to check out the ‘Aylcon 1994’ convention panel talk video with Elisabeth Sladen and Sarah Sutton below. The video is about 40 minutes and 35 seconds in total, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It’s also lovely to see Sarah Sutton and Lis Sladen get on so well with each other here. 🙂

In the video, Sarah gets to talk about ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’, both Sarah and Lis talk about costumes, their favourite costume, their favourite ‘Doctor Who’ story, Nicholas Courtney and ‘Snakedance’. It was fascinating to hear Sarah and Lis share their stories of working in ‘Doctor Who’.

Enjoy!

Bye for now!

Tim 🙂

      Hi scifimike,

It was nice to see this video recently and I’m pleased Elisabeth Sladen and Sarah Sutton got to do a panel talk together like this at a convention.

      Many thanks for your comments.

      Tim 🙂
