CD Reviews – ‘Star Cops: Mars – Part 2’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’m up-to-date again with the ‘Star Cops’ series as I’ve recently heard and reviewed the second ‘Mars’ box set by Big Finish, containing the last three of six episodes in the saga. I greatly enjoyed the second ‘Mars’ box set, finding each of the three episodes pretty compelling and dramatic to listen to. 🙂

The second ‘Mars’ box set of ‘Star Cops’ by Big Finish stars David Calder as Nathan Spring, Trevor Cooper as Colin Devis and Linda Newton as Pal Kenzy. We also have Rakhee Thakrar as Priya Basu and Philip Olivier as Paul Bailey, who weren’t in the first ‘Mars’ box set but have made up for their absence in the second box set.

In the second ‘Mars’ box set of ‘Star Cops’, the episodes include ‘Bodies of Evidence’ by script editor Andrew Smith, ‘Human Kind’ by director Helen Goldwyn and ‘The Highest Ground’ by script editor Andrew Smith. Please feel free to check out, read and comment on my reviews for these three episodes by clicking on the links for them.

I don’t know whether there will be more ‘Star Cops’ audios by Big Finish to look forward to in future years. I’m glad I’ve been able to catch up on the latest ‘Star Cops’ audios made by Big Finish recently, including ‘The Stuff of Life’ and the ‘Mars’ box sets. I hope Big Finish will continue to make more ‘Star Cops’ audios in the years to come. 🙂

Here’s a special behind-the-scenes video on the making of ‘Star Cops’ by Big Finish, featuring interviews with David Calder, Trevor Cooper and Linda Newton; Philip Olivier and Rakhee Thakrar; and writer/script editor Andrew Smith, producer Emma Haigh and director Helen Goldwyn.

You can purchase the ‘Star Cops: Mars – Part 2’ CD box set or as a download from; and/or the Big Finish website.

Enjoy! 🙂

Bye for now!

Tim 🙂
