As it’s Good Friday tomorrow, it’s a good time to revisit two dramatised productions of the story of Jesus Christ and the wonderful miracles he performed. The two productions of Jesus’ story that I’ve reviewed include the 1977 TV mini-series ‘Jesus of Nazareth’, starring Robert Powell as Jesus, and the 1999/2000 animated film ‘The Miracle Maker’, featuring Ralph Fiennes as the voice of Jesus. Christmas DVD review – ‘Pride and Prejudice’ (1940)

Before the 1995 BBC drama serial with Colin Firth and the 2005 film with Keira Knightley, there was a 1940 film of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ with Laurence Olivier. I bet you didn’t know about that, as this film is rarely talked about. Continue reading
