As it’s Good Friday tomorrow, it’s a good time to revisit two dramatised productions of the story of Jesus Christ and the wonderful miracles he performed. The two productions of Jesus’ story that I’ve reviewed include the 1977 TV mini-series ‘Jesus of Nazareth’, starring Robert Powell as Jesus, and the 1999/2000 animated film ‘The Miracle Maker’, featuring Ralph Fiennes as the voice of Jesus.

A happy Good Friday to you all! Today, I’m sharing my review on ‘Jesus of Nazareth’, a 1977 TV dramatisation on the Biblical story of Jesus Christ, directed by Franco Zeffirelli and featuring a stellar cast led by Robert Powell as Jesus. I used to watch ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ as a kid at around Christmas and Easter time.

This is a review on one of my Mum’s Christmas presents for this year!

Before the 1995 BBC drama serial with Colin Firth and the 2005 film with Keira Knightley, there was a 1940 film of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ with Laurence Olivier. I bet you didn’t know about that, as this film is rarely talked about.
