Basement News – June 2018

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the 1st of June! May has gone already! I miss that month! I loved May 2018 so much! Where did my enjoyment of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ go?! Where did my enjoyment of the ‘Folkestone Film, TV and Comic Con’ go?! I had a great time for my birthday this year! Nothing like that will ever come back for next year!

😥 😥 😥

Moment of silence.

Ah well. Life must go on! It’s time to look ahead and see what June 2018 has in store for us! What will be coming on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog this month? I’m looking forward to it. Hope you are too!

Here’s the preview!

Not much for ‘Doctor Who Timelines’ has happened in May. Don’t be surprised if you find I haven’t done any ‘Doctor Who Timelines’ for June either. I probably won’t mention it in my next ‘Basement News’ blog post for July. Otherwise, I’m still in the process of adding my ‘Doctor Who’ reviews to my timelines which is on-going. I hope to collect all of my ‘Doctor Who’ stuff into one page for my blog.

With ‘Doctor Who’ reviews, I’ve added my reviews on ‘The Creature From The Pit’ and ‘Nightmare of Eden’ with Tom Baker. For this month, I’ll be adding my reviews on ‘Fury From The Deep’, ‘The Wheel In Space’ and ‘The Dominators’ with Patrick Troughton as well as ‘Ghost Light’ and ‘Survival’ with Sylvester McCoy. Stay tuned for any updates on ‘Doctor Who’ reviews coming soon to my blog.

There will be a new Short Trip coming soon my blog sometime this year. This will feature the Sixth Doctor. Stay tuned! I’m also starting a repeat of ‘The Salvador Trilogy’ in ‘The Fifth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ series. This will start with ‘The Austen Code’ in June; then ‘Junglos 4198’ in July and ‘Chieftain’s Caves’ in August. Stay tuned for the announcements of my repeats on these adventures.

My parents and I have started re-watching ‘All Creatures Great and Small’, starring Christopher Timothy, Robert Hardy and Peter Davison. I’ve added a new page for the series to my blog. We’re currently on Series 1 and I’m adding reviews to each episode as I go through each season. This will continue during this year and the next, I believe.

I’ve now started watching and reviewing Phase One of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ this year! So far, I’ve reviewed ‘Iron Man’ and ‘The Incredible Hulk’. There’s ‘Iron Man 2’, ‘Thor’, ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ and ‘Avengers Assemble’ to review. Stay tuned for those reviews soon.

Check out my reviews on the ‘Classic Mystery Agatha Christie Collection’ with Margaret Rutherford as Miss Marple which I’ve added to ‘The World of Agatha Christie’. There’s also my reviews on Series 1 for ‘Oh, Doctor Beeching’ and Season 4 for ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ to enjoy.

I know I said I was going to watch ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ in May, but I’m now going to see it this weekend in June. Stay tuned for a review on that movie soon. I’m also going to see a re-release of ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ at the cinema. I’ve no idea what that’s going to be like. I hope I will enjoy it.

I’ve no conventions lined up yet for the rest of the year. But Sarah Sutton has assured me she’ll be seeing me at another event later in the year. So I look forward to that when Sarah gets announced as a guest for a convention/comic con. I would like to go to the ‘Destination: Star Trek’ event in Birmingham later this year in October 2018.

As well as my birthday blog posts for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and the ‘Folkestone Film, TV and Comic Con’, check out my ‘Mayday’ blog post for Swansea Beach (May 2018). Also check out my quick CD reviews on ‘The Fifth Doctor Trilogy 2018’ by Big Finish.

There’s also my book video review on ‘Dr. First’ as well as my quick DVD reviews on ‘Pudsey The Dog: The Movie’‘Gravity’; ‘Lady In The Water’ and ‘The Cable Guy’. Also check out my blog post for Peter Davison’s Chair Jam from ‘Harry Hill’s Alien Fun Capsule’.

Well, that’s everything for a preview on what’s to come on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ in June and beyond. I know I’ve some things out but as ever I hope to include them in the next ‘Basement News’ blog post for July next month. Haven’t been to Cadbury’s World yet this year, but hopefully I will soon. 😀

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
