Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s Day 10 of ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2020.
Does everything that the light touches become Cuddles’ kingdom?
Well, perhaps not everything, but hopefully Simba, prince of the Pride Lands, can share his kingdom with him. He’s certainly sharing it with Santa Cuddles as they watch the three animated films of ‘The Lion King’ as well as the 2019 remake of ‘The Lion King’. I love watching these films now and again. 🙂
I personally prefer the original 1994 animated ‘Lion King’ as opposed to the 2019 ‘Lion King’ remake, but that’s because I grew up with the original animated film and enjoyed the epic scale of it. I also loved the songs and music in the original film, which was recreated well in the stage show version. 🙂
In terms of the other ‘Lion King’ films, I do like ‘The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride’, although I wish that had been released at cinemas rather than as a direct-to-video release. I do find ‘The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata’ really funny. It depicts the first ‘Lion King’ film from Timon and Pumbaa’s viewpoint.
Lately, I’ve been revisiting my childhood by watching the ‘Timon & Pumbaa’ TV series on Disney+. I used to watch that on Saturday mornings when I was a kid as well as on VHS. I don’t think it’s as good as I remember it, but then again I’m rediscovering old episodes and I’m seeing some new ones.
I hope to watch a ‘Lion King’ film with Cuddles and Simba soon. I also hope to review them in full detail on my blog since they are Disney films that mean a lot to me. I hope Cuddles doesn’t forget that he’s a dog and that Simba doesn’t forget that he’s a lion whilst they watch ‘The Lion King’ films. 😀
