Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s New Year’s Eve today and at last! We have ‘The Lost Resort and Other Stories’, the CD box set of ‘Doctor Who’ audios by Big Finish featuring the final three adventures of the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Marc, starring Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton, Janet Fielding and George Watkins. I’m pleased these three audio adventures were released in 2021 and that I’m able to review them for the 2021-22 ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season on my blog.
The CD box set also features Matthew Waterhouse as Adric and Nicholas Briggs as the Daleks. The last three stories of the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Marc include ‘The Lost Resort’, ‘The Perils of Nellie Bly’ and ‘Nightmare of the Daleks’. I’ve found each of the three stories very enjoyable to listen to. But are the three stories very worthy of featuring a satisfying conclusion to the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Marc story arc in ‘Doctor Who’?
