This month will see the release of the sixth ‘War Master’ box set by Big Finish called ‘Killing Time’, featuring Sir Derek Jacobi, Sarah Sutton and Katy Manning. I’m looking forward to hearing that box set soon. For now though, let’s continue with ‘The War Maser’ series from the worlds of ‘Doctor Who’ by looking into the second box set called ‘The Master of Callous’.
This box set features Derek Jacobi back as the War Master with Silas Carson as the voice of the Ood. There are also guest stars like Pippa Haywood from ‘The Brittas Empire’, Kai Owen from ‘Torchwood’, Dalek operator Barnaby Edwards and Brigadier Bambera actress Angela Bruce in this four-part epic adventure. Will ‘The Master of Callous’ be as good as ‘Only the Good’?
