It’s New Year’s Day today! Happy New Year, everyone! 🙂 For our penultimate instalment in ‘The Nyssa Challenge’ 2021-22 mini-review season, it’s time to take a look at ‘The War Master’ story from the worlds of ‘Doctor Who’ by Big Finish called ‘Killing Time’. This is ‘The War Master’ story I’ve been looking forward to the most throughout 2021.
‘Killing Time’ is a four-part adventure and it stars Sir Derek Jacobi as the War Master and Alexandria Riley as Calantha with Katy Manning as Jo and Sarah Sutton as Nyssa. After listening to the previous ‘War Master’ stories, including ‘Only the Good’, ‘The Master of Callous’, ‘Rage of the Time Lords’, ‘Anti-Genesis’ and ‘Hearts of Darkness’, will ‘Killing Time’ meet my expectations?
