In my opinion, Series 4 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series is the best season out of the David Tennant/Tenth Doctor era. I have very fond memories of this season when I saw it back in 2008. In today’s ‘Doctor Who’ episode for the 60th Anniversary Marathon, David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor is joined by Catherine Tate as Donna Noble and Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones on an adventure in ‘The Doctor’s Daughter’ by Stephen Greenhorn. On the planet Messaline in the far future, there’s a war fought between the humans and the alien Hath. There’s also the birth of the Doctor’s daughter – Georgia Moffett as Jenny. Georgia Moffett happens to be the real-life daughter of Peter Davison, who plays the Fifth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’. She’s now Georgia Tennant, as she’s married to David Tennant, who plays the Tenth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’. ‘The Doctor’s Daughter’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and BBC iPlayer. Continue reading
