It’s amazing to find that there are British films available on Disney+, including ones released by StudioCanal. As well as the two ‘Paddington’ films, there’s ‘The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society’ and there’s this 2016 film adaptation of ‘Swallows and Amazons’, which I’ve seen lately.

From January to February 2022, I’ve been enjoying eight weeks of Series 11 of ‘Call the Midwife’! Yes, the series has gone back to eight episodes in Series 11 as opposed to seven episodes in Series 10. And this time, it was back to its January-February slot as opposed to the April-May slot in 2021. 🙂

It’s taken me a while, but I’ve managed to complete my reviews on Series 8 of ‘The Fourth Doctor Adventures’ by Big Finish in ‘Doctor Who’ – also called ‘The Syndicate Master Plan’. This season of ‘Doctor Who’ audio adventures stars Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor, Jane Slavin as Ann Kelso and K-9, voiced by John Leeson.

My parents and I have completed our journey in watching the ‘Call the Midwife’ series on DVD from 2020 to 2021. We’ve recently finished Series 10 of ‘Call the Midwife’ on DVD, which was shown earlier this year on BBC One from April to May. We’re currently looking forward to seeing the 2021 Christmas Special and Series 11 next.

Well, it took us a while, but my parents and I have finally reached the point where we can get onto watching Series 10 of ‘Call the Midwife’ on DVD. We’ve finished Series 9 on DVD and I’ve added my latest reviews on the season on my blog. I first saw Series 9 of ‘Call the Midwife’ back in early 2020. Amazing how I’m revisiting it a year later on DVD in 2021.

It’s been emotionally packed with lots of character drama and intriguing stories involving births of babies and such. The season finale seems to guarantee ‘Call the Midwife’ a future, but for a short while.
