It’s funny how I seem to keep coming back to ‘The Three Musketeers’ by Alexandra Dumas every year. In 2021, I reviewed the 1993 film and in 2022, I reviewed the 2011 film. Both films I saw on Disney+. I’ve just finished checking out the BBC TV series ‘The Musketeers’, based on the 1844 novel.

For the past six weeks, my parents and I have enjoyed Series 7 of ‘Grantchester’ on Britbox! 🙂 I’m glad we were able to see these episodes after they were transmitted on ITV1 on Fridays. My parents and I checked out the six episodes on Britbox on a Saturday and a Sunday for the past six weekends.

I’ve seen Series 6, Episode 2 of ‘Grantchester’! I enjoyed the episode very much and found it compelling. I especially liked the Wisdom of Solomon story given at the end by Tom Brittney as Will Davenport since it’s very fitting for what goes on in the episode. I am worried about Leonard though.

(sighs) Okay, let’s get this over with. It’s time for Series 5, Episode 6 of ‘Grantchester’. Let me tell you, I was hoping for a great climax to this season of ‘Grantchester’. After the build-up to what had been going on in the first five episodes, I was hoping for a good pay-off to all the characters I’d seen.

I enjoyed watching Series 5, Episode 2 of ‘Grantchester’ last night. It was another enjoyable episode that combined both character drama as well as a murder mystery. It’s interesting how ‘Grantchester’ does that in one hour of TV compared to other murder mysteries that have 2 hours to tell the story.
