We start off Season 7 by taking a look at the four-part adventure ‘Spearhead From Space’. This story also features the return of Nicholas Courtney as Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and U.N.I.T. Here’s another one of my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ stories from the Patrick Troughton era! 🙂 This is ‘The Invasion’, an epic eight-part story where Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jamie and Wendy Padbury as Zoe face the Cybermen again. They also confront Kevin Stoney as the villainous Tobias Vaughn and they’re joined by Nicholas Courtney, who is promoted as Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and is the leader of U.N.I.T., a new taskforce tackling alien invasions of Earth. Two missing episodes of ‘The Invasion’ have been animated for DVD. ‘The Invasion’ is currently available to check out on DVD and on Britbox.

Here’s my latest review on the 1987 film adaptation of ‘Little Dorrit’, based on the novel by Charles Dickens. The 1987 film adaptation of ‘Little Dorrit’ is a two-part film. Each part is about 3 hours long, which makes this a 6-hour film altogether. You’ll probably want to spend two days watching this particular film. 🙂
