    Hi Tim,

    Thanks for dropping a line.

I’ve checked the press release for the Short Trips with Turlough – https://www.bigfinish.com/news/v/doctor-who—more-monthly-short-trips-for-2016

I don’t know what’s become of ‘Trap For Fools’. The link for the story on the press release seems to go directly to a ‘A Full Life’ instead.

I’m sure it’ll be released soon. They must be still arranging the Short Trips for the rest of 2017 at this time. Have you contacted BF to ask where and when ‘Trap For Fools’ is and be released?

    Thanks Tim.

    Tim. 🙂

    Hi Tom!

    Thanks for dropping a line!

It was suggested on ‘The Divergent Universe’ forum that ‘Fallen Angels’ takes place after’ And You Will Obey Me’ which was another solo Fifth Doctor adventure made in 2016. – http://notthebigfinishforum.freeforums.net/thread/352/timeline-requests?page=4

Eyespider seems to think on the same lines with putting ‘Fallen Angels’ after’ And You Will Obey Me’ too – http://eyespider.org.uk/drwho/pd/list.html

Having listened to the audio myself, I concur with this suggestion made since there isn’t a clear indication of where the story might take place in the Fifth Doctor’s timeline.

    Thanks again.

    Tim. 🙂

    Hello again Tim.

I see from earlier this evening that you know of Christopher Timothy and Barbara Flynn being in ‘Forty’. I thought I’d comment here anyway and give my thoughts. Wouldn’t it be interesting if we got other Peter Davison series cast members for the second ‘Forty’ box set. I would like it if Sarah Smart was in it. I’d would especially love it if she had scenes with Sarah Sutton as Nyssa. I’d say a reunion between Sarah Smart and Peter (if there hasn’t already been one) might be unlikely as I’m looking at the BTS photos for ‘Forty’ in ‘Vortex’ magazine and they main cast look as though they recorded it from their homes. Maybe they got her for the second box set. They could also use Robert Glenister.

I see one of the other ‘Forty’ cast members is Belinda Lang. I’ve heard/seen her in a radio/tv sitcom which also starred Lynda Bellingham. I’ve also seen that the second box set features Mark Strickson as Turlough and Jon Culshaw as the Brigadier. I haven’t seen the Ice Warriors on tv at all. Would that be an issue?

I mentioned a few months ago that Peter Davison has worked with at least three Sarah’s in his career. There is a fourth (spelt differently). Sara Corper who played Sonia in ‘Sink or Swim’.

I received ‘The Lost Resort and Other Stories’ today.

    Take care, WF92.

      Hi WF92,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Christopher Timothy and Barbara Flynn appearing in ‘Forty’. I’m looking forward to hearing the box set when it comes out in January. It would be nice if Sarah Smart and Robert Glenister were in the second ‘Forty’ box set. Maybe Big Finish have considered that. It’d be nice for Sarah Sutton and Sarah Smart to have scenes together. I need to catch up on my Peter Davison stuff with things like ‘A Very Pecuilar Practice’, ‘At Home with the Braithwaites’ and ‘The Larkins’. I’m hoping there’ll be better quality behind-the-scenes photos of Peter, Sarah, Janet and Matthew compared to the ones in the latest Vortex magazine, hopefully by the time the first ‘Forty’ box set comes out in January. I don’t think it’s an issue if you haven’t seen the Ice Warriors yet in ‘Doctor Who’. Though it wouldn’t hurt to check them out. ‘The Seeds of Death’ is a good starting point on Britbox, I think. 😀

Glad you’ve recieved your ‘Lost Resort and Other Stories’ box set. Hope you enjoy it!

      Tim 🙂
